"On the 6th of July 1944 we were attacked by a group of Germans. Many people, including our commander was wounded and many people died. We killed many Germans and took some prisoners. We shot then afterwards. We put them to a wall. We were furious and angry against the Germans.

We did the same to them as they did to us. If we couldn't shoot them we used a knife or stone. It was dangerous to make noise by shooting. I was not considered a hero by my age but I fulfulled all my orders."
